Get to Know Me

A 1983 transplant from Texas to Colorado with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Rudy and his family have made their home in Littleton, Colorado where they have sunk their roots in with family and new friends. They love Colorado and have seen and enjoyed how much the Denver metro area has grown and thrived throughout the years. Many dear friends and family are still in Texas, but Colorado is where life happens for the Avila family.

Combining his over 30 years of experience in the supervisory and management of the accounting and finance activities of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, and another 7 years as a Project Manager for Konica Minolta Business Solutions, he values and excels in planning, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, customer focus, and interpersonal and social skills. His strengths compliment his son, Randy’s number one priority to serve the client by nurturing a relationship built on trust and provide life-changing opportunities and support for his clients. Rudy wants to make sure the client has a fun and positive experience with their sale or purchase of their home and property when they use the services of R Squared Real Estate.

Rudy has held a position as a board member on an HOA Board and has participated on a group committee that promotes a positive environment and open communication with the HOA Board and its homeowners. He was also the president of the Huntington Disease Society of America’s (HDSA) Rocky Mountain Chapter from 2011 to 2014, and previous to holding that position; he was the treasurer for the Chapter for about 3 years. He is still connected to this community of families that need support with this horrible debilitating neurological disorder.

He enjoys meeting new people, is outgoing and energetic, and likes to stay fit. He has enjoyed coaching kids’ sports, and loves playing sports, especially baseball, tennis, and racquetball. Rudy is still playing baseball (hardball) in the Colorado 60 and Over Baseball league, and will play until who knows when?
